Business Problem

Industrial supply businesses don’t fit the mold of a typical online store. Large product catalogs, complex buying requirements, and the need to run multiple stores at once demand a platform that is built differently from the ground up.

Kollaris was scaling fast and needed an eCommerce foundation that could keep up not just today, but years down the line. The priority was stability, structure, and zero need for constant redevelopment every time the business grew.

About the project

Kolleris needed a scalable industrial supplies eCommerce platform capable of supporting multiple online stores and a rapidly growing product catalog. The key objective was to build a solution that could handle complex inventory, maintain strong performance, and support long-term operations without constant redevelopment. Reliability, flexibility, and a clear buying experience for industrial customers were critical.

We delivered two dedicated eCommerce stores built on Magento, powered by React, Next.js, and GraphQL for a modern, high-performance frontend experience. The architecture was designed to efficiently manage large product catalogs while ensuring consistent speed and stability. This scalable setup enables Kolleris to expand its offerings confidently while providing buyers with a dependable, well-structured purchasing journey tailored for industrial needs.

Projects Challenges

Kollaris wasn’t a typical eCommerce build. Large catalogs, multiple stores, and a need for long-term stability meant every decision had to be deliberate. Here is what we tackled to get it right.

Kollaris Project Challenge

Catalog Complexity

Industrial product lists are large, detailed, and constantly growing. We structured Magento to organise and scale the catalog without making it harder to manage over time.

Dual Store Setup

Two stores, one architecture. We built a flexible setup that lets both stores run independently while sharing the same reliable foundation underneath.

Frontend Speed

A heavy catalog can slow everything down. React, Next.js, and GraphQL kept the storefront fast and responsive regardless of how many products were loaded.

Long-Term Stability

The client needed a platform built to last. Every decision, from architecture to data structure, was made with years of growth in mind, not just the launch.

Buyer Clarity

Industrial buyers need structure, not noise. We designed a clean, logical purchasing journey that makes browsing and ordering straightforward, even with complex product options.

Inventory Synchronisation Across Stores

Managing stock across two stores created risks of mismatches and overselling. We implemented a centralised inventory system to keep stock accurate and consistent across both platforms.
